Engage the Rage

In an anxious moment, as under an angry sky, rage can descend with quick and blinding fury.

Recognize the rage.

When the temperature is soaring; and the mind is preparing to enter this emotional dimension; engage the rage.

Rein in the anger.

Harmonize.

This is a point of choice.

This is a moment when one can truly see oneself, as in a mirror of emotions.

When emotions collide, energy is transformed in this collision.

Thoughts are energy signals.

According to Lewis, R (2019), “The brain requires an inordinate amount of energy to do its work, utilizing 20% of the body’s energy consumption at rest, despite accounting for only 2% of the body’s weight. The brain’s rate of caloric burning increases when engaged in cognitively demanding tasks. Energy and mass are interchangeable (E=mc2). Since thoughts are energy signals, the energy transmitting a thought therefore has mass.”

The energy of thought is transformed between emotions which produces changes such as blood pressure and temperature within our physical being; these changes can be identified, in the moment, to the observant mind.

Can one consistently, at the point of choice, engage deeper into ones own cognitive abilities, and work with change?

At the point of choice, to recognize, engage, and then, build a path of better decisions, build a path to better habits, build a path to a better you!
