As I sat down with my favorite instrument this morning, it was like visiting an old friend. I know the sound the instrument produces when it is in tune, this morning it was out of tune. Once the tension of strings was corrected and the instrument was in tune, I picked a couple of notes. The strings produced the sound I accepted. Then I played a chord, the sound was not in harmony. As I adjusted the tension applied to the chord, the sound came into acceptance.
It was me that was out of alignment; the harmony that the instrument was capable of producing rang out, when I became more in tune.
